The way in which humanity feels entitled to existence is a veritable crime. Modern science may provide a slight understanding of the mechanics of the universe, yet beyond the capability of human intuition lies a vast abyss of obscurity and mystery that we may never completely understand. Don’t worship some manmade deity—simplifying something so beautifully complex due to our innate human insecurities is akin to murder. True spiritual fulfillment is standing in awe of the sheer volume of what you do not understand.

The universe most likely does not have a purpose and I love this idea. It leaves so much for one to explore! I’m not afraid of ignoring what someone thinks I should be, what my parents want me to be, what people think some “God” wants me to be, because it’s all bullshit. How the fuck would they know? They will never, EVER be able to truly walk a mile in my shoes no matter how hard they try or how much I try to make them understand. It goes for everyone. Nobody has the slightest clue of what the fuck it is like to be you. It’s simply impossible. Take pride in that. You don’t have to be anything, and that’s fucking amazing. I was a music major for two years until I realized I wanted to be a doctor. You know what I did? I quit that shit immediately and started my premed career. You know what people said about my snap decision? People said everything about my snap decision. You know how many fucks I gave? Zero. End of story. What I’m trying to say is be what you want to be. Be a fucking plumber or something if it makes you happy— the shittiest jobs (no pun intended) hold just as much merit as the most revered ones in the grand scheme of things. So be excited that you breathe, love, cry, and need. Existence is amazing and there is so much on this earth for our species, you don’t get to be bored dammit!
